Micro Markets

Micro Markets

Traditional Vending Alternative

A Micro Market, an alternative to traditional vending, is like having your own market place right on site. Great variety and convenience, and most important, your Micro Market is stocked with fresh, nutritious selections that will include crisp salads, fresh sandwiches, dairy products, fruit, yogurt, protein drinks, juices and more, along with 24/7 availability.

Micro Markets offer “shop, scan, and enjoy” convenience! You make your selections – pick them right out of the coolers or off the shelves, check out the nutritional information, then, scan the bar code at the kiosk (very easy!). No cashier needed on site and the payment process is simple. Your selections and prices are viewable on the kiosk screen with a final total. Pay with a reloadable market card, or a credit/debit card.

Micro Markets are loaded with advantages. In addition to giving you a cashless solution to shopping, your reloadable market card is your source for incentives, special offers, and the ability to track your purchases and nutritional information. Monthly specials highlighting healthy products and giveaways also provide excitement for your employees!

Contact VVS today and make the switch to a reliable, healthy and exciting Micro Market!

Our History

Our History

In March of 1961 VVS, Inc. (Valley Vending Service) was founded when Wayne Davis, a Cozad, Nebraska truck stop and café owner, and Gale Evans, a local bakery owner, joined forces in the automated food business. Acquiring their first account, the Monroe Shock Absorber manufacturing plant in Cozad, Nebraska, Wayne and Gale began selling candy and pastry items in their first few vending machines. Six months later Wayne Davis decided to follow his instincts and purchase 100 percent of the company.

In 1968 VVS spread its wings again, getting into the amusement device business with its first pool table on location.

In 1979, the same year VVS acquired it’s first dining service account, Wayne stepped down as President to make way for his son Dick Davis. Educated with his dad’s principles toward customer service, Dick has guided VVS through a series of company acquisitions, new account sales and territory expansions. His daughter, Kristen Jack, joined the company in 1991, and is now President of VVS, Inc. Dick remains as the Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board.

In June 2001, VVS, Inc. signed with Canteen, the largest vending company in the world, as a member of their Franchise Group. With Canteen’s guidance and VVS’s deep roots in quality service and innovation, the company has continued to acquire business in Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Colorado and Texas. Over 500 dedicated VVS Canteen employee’s service more than 3700 vending machines, 1600 amusement devices and numerous foodservice locations spanning six states.
