In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness, Cargill in Friona, Texas, participated in a “Pink Out” day! VVS employees joined in by decorating the cafeteria in pink, and donning their best pink shirts. A big “thank you” to Cargill and VVS for helping to support a great cause!
VVS recently catered a five-star meal to 35 senior staff members at the Cargill Beef Plant in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Steve Smith, VVS District Manager, Mark Zwetzig, VVS Site Manager, and staff served roasted beef tenderloin, teriyaki salmon with pineapple salsa, sautéed summer squash, honey ginger carrots, wild rice pilaf, tossed mixed greens, and chocolate mousse with whipped cream and raspberries. The meal was a big hit!
VVS site manager, Mark Zwetzig, and his staff served fajitas to over 1900 employees at the Cargill plant in Fort Morgan, Colorado during a recent plant feed. Great job to everyone involved!
VVS recently catered a VIP meal for management at Cargill in Fort Morgan, CO. John Keifer, site manager Mark Zwetzig and his staff put together a top-notch menu! Fifty Cargill managers were served pasta salad, bacon-wrapped pork loin, beef and veggie kabobs, and three different flavors of truffles for dessert. On February 21st, VVS catered a 2-day meeting at Cargill in Dodge City, KS. VVS’ site manager, Alisia Bravo and her staff cooked up beef tenderloin, potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, and silk pie for 40 Cargill managers. The event was a huge success, and “we enjoy every second of it,” said Alisia.
Cargill in Dodge City, Kansas, recently recognized employees with perfect attendance, and VVS was there to cater the event. VVS Site Manager, Alisia Bravo, and her staff cooked and served steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, dinner rolls and cookies to 275 Cargill employees. The event was a big success!
Carolina Mungia, VVS Site Manger at Cargill in Friona, Texas, was recently recognized by Cargill for an doing outstanding job. Cargill Plant Manager, Jamin Phipps, presented Carolina with a Cargill Jacket and complimented her on the great food and variety offered in the cafeteria. A recent health inspection that garnered a 99% was also mentioned. Great job to Carolina and her staff in Friona!
VVS recently installed its newest Micro Market at Cargill in Columbus, Nebraska. This will provide the employees more options and a better food selection. Great job, and a big “thank you”, to everybody involved!

VVS recently teamed with Cargill in Dodge City, KS, to smoke 1,200 lbs. of brisket, grill 1,800 ears of corn and cook a mountain of baked beans. The cookout was held during the annual Dodge City Days at the Round Up Rodeo. Proceeds from the feed were donated to a local charity and helped to highlight Cargill’s continuing efforts of being involved in their community. With VVS’ support, Cargill was able to feed over 1,000 hungry customers and the community event was a success. A special thanks to everybody at Cargill in Dodge City and to VVS Site Manager Alisia Bravo and staff. Stephen Smith joins VVS as the site manager at Cargill in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Stephen has worked in foodservice his entire life, including previous experience with a major restaurant chain and grocery chain. “I am an avid golfer and I love to do anything outdoors including fishing, hunting, camping and hiking,” said Stephen, commenting on his passions outside work. “I am also a diehard Denver Broncos fan and a season ticket holder for the Colorado Mammoth indoor professional lacrosse team!” Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his two children and two grandchildren. Welcome to the team, Stephen!
