This edition of VVS’ Employee Spotlight features Jane Naslund, Payroll Deduct Administrator, in our Cozad office. Jane has been with VVS a little over three years, after working as a loan officer in Holdrege, Nebraska. She enjoys fishing with her husband, Kelly, planting and caring for her flowers, spending time with her twin daughters, and baking. One of Jane’s proudest accomplishments was helping her husband build their home a few years ago. She is also excited about her “first grandchild to be born in July.” Congratulations, Jane, and thank you for all you do for VVS!
Scott Trumbley, VVS’ District Manager for Vending, Micro Markets, & Office Coffee Service (East Region), recently attended the North American Merchandisers Association (NAMA) training in Houston, Texas. Held on the campus of the University of Houston, the training was for leadership and management. Scott told us: “There were several tools taught on how to deal with employees and customers in a way that will allow your business to grow, prosper and become stronger.” Congratulations, Scott, on completing this training!
Cargill in Dodge City, Kansas, recently recognized employees with perfect attendance, and VVS was there to cater the event. VVS Site Manager, Alisia Bravo, and her staff cooked and served steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, dinner rolls and cookies to 275 Cargill employees. The event was a big success!

Amarillo Faith City Mission had a record-breaking year when they fed nearly 500 homeless in December, and VVS staff was there to help. Latoya Williams (District Manager, Texas), Carol Mungia (Site Manager, Cargill Friona), and Tammy Benton (Site Manager, Tyson Amarillo) volunteered their time to help serve ham, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, and pecan pie. They plan to volunteer again in 2017 for the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. A huge “Thank You” to these ladies for helping those in need during the holiday season!

With VVS’ help, our clients and customers celebrated the holidays in November and December with over 30 plant feeds across six states. VVS employees cooked over 40,000 pounds of meat, served 55,000 slices of pie, and provided endless sides and drinks. Numerous staff meetings across various departments were essential to ensure all of our clients were taken care of. Thank you to all of our clients and everyone who had a hand in making the holidays great!
