VVS and Sysco - New Products

Testing New Menu Items

In our search to bring you quality products, VVS recently tested new menu items for use in our cafeterias. VVS staff Matt Schneider (DM), John Keifer (COO) and Michaela Arndt (Procurement Manager) worked with Sysco Chef Brian Everman and National Account Executive Mark Neumayer to source new products for use in our cafeterias.

Superfood: Yogurt

SUPEROOD: Yogurt

The Superfood for the month of February is Yogurt! Yogurt is a nutrient-rich food, containing protein, A vitamins, riboflavin, phosphorus, potassium, and calcium. Yogurt also contains probiotics, which help to maintain and restore the delicate balance of both “good” and “bad” bacteria necessary for a healthy digestive system.

Stop by your local VVS cafeteria or Micro Market and treat yourself to some yogurt today!
